Hon. Akinmayowa Okikiola Akinkoye populary known as Shanawole decamps from PDP to APC

 on the 15th of may, 2022, Hon. Akinmayowa Okikiola Akinkoye made a defining move in his political career, transitioning from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Accompanied by eight ward chairmen and over 2,000 loyal supporters, his defection marked a significant moment for the political landscape. Hon. Akinkoye was warmly welcomed into the APC by the State Chairman, Hon. Engr. Ade Adetimehin. The following day, he was accorded a state reception by the then Deputy Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, at the State Secretariat in Alagbaka, Akure, the Ondo State capital.
